Terms of Service

You need an account for membership features. Keep your credentials safe: you’re responsible for activity on your account, and it’s for one person — sharing logins or member content outside your account isn’t permitted. You can delete your account at any time in account settings.

Memberships are billed in advance on a recurring basis via Stripe, or through Patreon if you joined there. They renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time from your account (or on Patreon) — you keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and no further payments are taken. Where a free trial is offered, you can cancel during the trial and pay nothing.

If we change membership pricing, we’ll give existing members reasonable notice by email before it affects a renewal.

One-off purchases (sample packs, plugins, other digital products) are delivered immediately. By downloading you consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that the statutory 14-day cancellation right for digital content is waived once delivery has begun. That said — if something is broken, not as described, or you’re otherwise stuck, email us and we’ll make it right. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

Everything on Lux Cache — tutorials, articles, videos, samples, presets, project files, software — belongs to Lux Cache or the artists who made it, and is licensed to you, not sold.

Samples, presets and project files may be used in your own musical works, including commercial releases, without attribution. You may not redistribute, resell or share them as they are — alone, in another sample pack, or as part of any content library — whether modified or not.

Tutorials, articles and videos are for your own learning. Don’t re-publish, re-upload or share member content outside your account.

Software and plugins are licensed per person with a limited number of device activations, which you can manage in your account. You may not copy, redistribute, reverse engineer or circumvent licensing.

Don’t abuse the service: no unauthorised access, scraping, bulk downloading, interfering with other members, or using the service to infringe anyone’s rights. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms; where practical we’ll warn you first.

We work hard to keep Lux Cache available and its content excellent, but the service is provided “as is”: we don’t guarantee uninterrupted availability, and editorial content is provided for education, without warranties as to outcomes. Content, features and third-party integrations may change over time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes belong to its courts (mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply). If we update these terms materially, we’ll notify members before the changes take effect; continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.
