Since his first releases at 15 years old, he quickly garner attention from the likes of Mary Anne Hobbs, Flying Lotus and Anthony Fantano. Following a string of SoundCloud uploads and live sets for Boiler Room and i-D Magazine, Whiston signed with Ninja Tune in 2017, releasing the 5-track ‘Fissure Price EP’ while still attending secondary school. In 2020, Whiston founded his company Lux Cache, an educational platform that has become an incubator for next-generation talent. In commissioning insights from peers and artists at the forefront of innovation in music, he forges a conduit between his own artistry and the wider creative ecosystem — working closely with institutions such as Ableton, New York University and BIMM.
